GRAS
Friday night was awesome. so much fun!! here it goooes...
After Jessica W. and I went around school 3 times, we headed home to get ready for the dance :)... When i got home, Jessica F. and Ana came over and we got ready together. i wore... jeans, Ecko tan, white and black shoes, black blouse with gold stuff on the the top part and a left 'tail', short black jacket, Jessica F.'s heaved brown-and-tan-and-gold belt and for the HUGE gold hoops. whee :) After getting dressed, we waited for Jessica W. to come then we stared walking to school. we were all excited to see what everyone was wearing and stuff. when we got there, our lovely group of rock lover freinds were already there, packed with 2 hugr cans of Monster. they were all wearing skirts, some till the knee and the others short with fish nets and converse. we looked fab all together (: haha :) when everyone was finally present, we ran in the MPR for the dance. the lights were already off the the DJ was doing his thang :P the moment we got our mardi gras beads on, we hit the dance floor and danced like there was no tomorrow. damn 'you girls can shake that ass' ... our very cool TA, Jeff, said when we finally stopped to get a soda. haha. they played grillz, laffy taffy, hollaback girl, drop it like its hot, 1, 2 step, goodies and a whole bunch of stuff i can't remember. oh gosh was it fun. then came the time to crown KING and QUEEN. no one cared that much but it happened :) then Devon got on stage and started rapping. whew, that was hot... the rap, not Devon.. lol :) yeah hes good, when he got off stage everyone was saying 'go devon!go devon!' haha then we danced s'more and stuff... in 2 1/2 hours, i was able to consume 5 cans of soda... too much caffine in my system, damn. they ended the night by playing ' don't forget about us' ... people got into pairs and slow danced.... there was only one guy i wanted to dance with.. but he already had a partner ): ... so when i saw him with her, i just sat down and watched everyone else... Jessica W., being the great friend that she is, felt bad for me and lent me Bobby for the rest of the song and she danced with her friend Abraham... Bobby is so funny, just what i needed to keep my hopes up :)... then the lights went on and he pulled away from her... i gave Bobby a BIG hug. then me and the two Jessicas walked down Chase street heading home. but before we reached the stop light, Bobby's car passed and we yelled him our goodbyes and loves. then just when the pedestrian slight went red, his car turned zooming past us as he said bye... i ran across the 4-lane road just as the stop light turned yellow. whew, i made it (: we were so hyper and noisy on the way home. im telling you, too much soda, man. haha the stupid things we did crossing the street... like doing NORTHRIDGE jumping jacks... we did it so good crossing a 2-way road, even Mr. Witt couldn't complain.
and that was my 8th grade Mardi Gras Dance night.... as for what happened when i got home... well, as Nessie would always tell me, 'OGK' *only God knows* :) |
